Capsule Asset

This is essentially a “turnaround” of sorts for the design of our capsule assets. We wanted to stylize the top plane of the capsule when looked at from straight on or a 3/4 down shot.

Although the desk is a very simple design, we needed to play around with colors and textures to see which worked best within the scene.

Chair Turnaround & Color Tests

After selecting the final design for our chair, our next goal was to draw out its turnaround and figure out what colors we wanted to use for it. We gravitated to the colors of the chair in the top row, middle position.

Background Design

Our professor really liked this abstract brown splatter painting and suggested that we use it as the background for our short film. Since our story takes place in abstract space, we felt it fit to use a background image that didn’t base itself in reality.

FTS – Character Designs

Thanks to our group-mate Jon Mandel, we finally have our final turnarounds for our two characters Small & Boofy (formerly know as Big). Here is also a size comparison sheet to show the relative size of the two characters together.
